Downloads and basic site analytics

You can download without giving us your name or email. We use Cloudflare to host and protect the site. Where enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics provides cookieless page-view and performance measurements. We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site tracking cookies, browser fingerprinting or local-storage identifiers.

Our download measurement records a daily aggregate of the image or pack selected, the page used, a trade page where relevant, the referring site’s hostname and country code supplied by Cloudflare. It does not store IP addresses, user-agent strings, full referring URLs or URL query strings. These figures count clicks, not verified installs or unique people, and can include duplicates or bots. No personal download profiles are created.

We use these broad statistics under our legitimate interests in understanding which artwork is useful and improving the service. Cloudflare processes network and security data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site under its own applicable terms. Hosting is not anonymous just because our own download table does not store an IP address. Aggregated download data is kept for up to 13 months.

Optional email updates and offers

If you choose to sign up, we collect your name, trade, email and optional town. We also record the sign-up time, source page, exact consent wording and confirmation time. The box is unticked by default and says: “Send me new packs and offers from Trustmark Trades”. You do not have to consent to download.

Our legal basis for this marketing is consent under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. We send a confirmation email first. We do not add you to marketing sends unless you confirm. The email delivery service configured for this project acts as a processor; if Resend is used, delivery may involve processing outside the UK with contractual safeguards. Before activation, we must have the relevant processor agreement and UK transfer safeguards in place. We do not sell or rent your details.

Unsubscribe and retention

Use the unsubscribe link in any email or request an unsubscribe here. You can also email [email protected] with “Unsubscribe”. It is free and you do not have to give a reason. Withdrawal does not affect processing before you withdrew.

Unconfirmed sign-ups are removed after 7 days. Confirmed subscriptions are reviewed after 24 months of inactivity. After unsubscribing we remove optional profile fields and retain a minimal suppression record and consent evidence for up to 3 years, only to honour your choice and demonstrate compliance. These retention limits are enforced by the maintenance procedure described in our deployment documentation.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or a portable copy of your information. You can object to legitimate-interest processing and withdraw marketing consent at any time. Contact us using the email above; we normally respond within one month. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

Service providers and safeguards

Cloudflare provides hosting, security, analytics and database services. Access to subscriber exports is restricted to an administrator credential. We do not put subscriber data in page source or public files. Some providers operate internationally; we use appropriate contractual protections for restricted transfers. Children should not sign up for business marketing.
